"Pwned" Cover Reveal

It's here guys! The moment you've all been waiting for! Well, the moment I've been waiting for!

Thanks to the amazingly talented Sara Vaz for being an epic photographer! Jackie Hicken for designing the awesome book cover! And Megan Van Oostendorp for being my model even when I said "Hey put on a cheerleading uniform and let me take a picture of your butt" (I'm not very good with words so my initial request to use her as a model didn't come off very well).

Without further ado, I give you the cover for my epic nerd gamer book "Pwned"!

Reagan West has a perfect life. She’s at the top of the high school food chain as co-captain of the cheerleading squad and she’s best friends with the most evil girl in Albany, Tawny Perez, which means she’s never on the receiving end of her wrath. The only trouble in Reagan’s perfect life comes from the constant threat of her dirty little secret leaking to her fellow classmates and casting her into a lifetime of ridicule.

Reagan West is a closet gamer and hates her role as the evil cheerleader.

But, as any well versed teenager knows, it’s better to suppress your own nerdy tendencies than to submit to a lifetime of being shoved into lockers and so, Reagan bravely soldiers through life as a reluctant bully… until a boy from her guild moves to her school and becomes Tawny’s next target. The newcomer threatens to reveal Reagan’s nerdy little secret and force her to come to terms with who she truly is. Now Reagan has to decide if she’s going to defend her fellow geeks, or if she’ll continue to be a total troll.

I'll be posting the book cover in the next week or two and starting the giveaway contests after that! Then it'll be released at the end of April!

I just realized I've used a lot of exclamation points in this blog post.

I should probably calm down a bit.

Anyway, I'm calling on all you nerds to spread the word. Tell your Guildies, or even those random people you start a PUG with about it! Harass John and Hank Green and Felicia Day and LIGHTS! (But not to the point where they hate me because we're all bugging them about the book). Do whatever you can, my fellow nerds, to spread the word!

Video Blog 3: Paloozas Galore

Hey folks!


Yeah I just called you folks. I'm eighty years old secretly.

So anyway, I know you can't get enough of my super awkward video blogs so I made another one! In which I name drop... a lot... but in my defense I was overwhelmed by the pure awesomeness of how many people I got to meet at Authorpalooza this year.
