Sugar Coated cover reveal extravaganza!

Okay so maybe that title is a bit over the top. But it is kind of an extravaganza! I mean, not only can you see the cover reveal here. But you can also find it on Mindy Holt's blog and Elizabeth Anne Lance's blog. So I'd call that an extravaganza.

Now, are you all ready for the cover? Because the build up has been big enough!

Ta-da!

What do you think?

I'm pretty much in LOVE with it! The amazing Rue Volley from CHBB Publishing designed the cover for me and my wonderful friend Trenton Michael Davis took the cover photo (and a photo that will be on the back cover actually!).

Here's how it went down...

I was talking to my brother one day before CHBB had signed my Sugar Coated Trilogy and we were talking about shooting a cover for the book. So he contacted Trent and said, "Do you know anyone that looks like Emily Browning?" because I basically made Brynn (my main character) after Emily Browning.

It just so happened that Trent knew a girl who looked EXACTLY like Emily Browning and also did some modeling. So he asked if she'd be on the cover, and she said YES!

So the amazing Andrea Sue Fullmer posed for the photo (7 months pregnant might I add, even though you totally can't tell in the pictures. She's one of those lucky ones who doesn't look pregnant anywhere. She just looks like she's hiding a beach ball under her shirt; I call it 'model pregnant') and we got some AMAZING shots!

I, unfortunately, couldn't be at the photo shoot since I'm in California and they were all in Utah, but my sister-in-law kept texting me behind-the-scenes photos and I was giggling like a crazy woman and texting her things like "OH MY GOSH THIS IS THE BEST THING EVER TELL HER SHE'S BEAUTIFUL AND LOOKS LIKE BRYNN AND THEY'RE DOING THE BEST JOB EVER AND I LOVE EVERYTHING ABOUT THIS!!!!!" Basically, I frightened them all with my fangirling. But it was so worth it because I love every single picture that came out of that photo shoot and CHBB did too and agreed to use them on the cover!

In a few days I'll post a few more shots that didn't get used on the cover but that are amazingly wonderful! I've made all sorts of backgrounds and promotional graphics that you can put on your blog so keep an eye out for those.

Also, don't forget to add "Sugar Coated" to your TBR list on Goodreads!

Anyway, now that I've gone on and on about the cover, tell me! What do you think???

Until next time,

Shannen
